During this week many people will start to feel their baby move. I have not felt my baby move yet. The ultrasound technician did warn me about this at my last appointment because she said that with this pregnancy I had an anterior placenta meaning that I have more padding in the front and it may take me longer to feel the baby move. She told me I may not feel the baby move until the around the 18th or 20th week. I am glad that she warned me of this I many have gotten worried otherwise. But, I guess this could be a blessing because I may sleep better until then.

  1. I too have an anterior placenta. I started feeling movement around 18 weeks or so, and it has only gotten to be more and more since then. I am so excited for you, becuase I have just recently been experiencing the same things as you. I am now 30 weeks and I still get a great night's sleep. I really think it is becuase of the anterior placenta. That is one great thing about it. Feeling the movement is the greatest thing ever...even when he or she is constantly kicking you in the ribs or in the bladder :)

  2. It is great that the two of you can share this experience. Also, you may not realize it when you feel movement the first time. Too me it felt like butterfly wings. Now I know if was angel wings. (:
